There Were No Robberies in Washington D.C. During the Redskins Game . . . But Three Armed Robberies Right After They Lost:
The NFL fights crime! At least until your team loses.
On Sunday, during the Washington Redskins playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, there were no robberies in Washington D.C. That's right: ZERO robberies for the entire three-hour game.
BUT . . . after the Redskins lost, in the next hour, the D.C. police reported to THREE separate robberies. And all three were ARMED robberies.
They were able to catch the robber from one of the three . . . but are still looking for the robbers from the other two.
A Man Stumbles Into a Bar After Being Shot Six Times . . . Where Six Nurses Happened to Be There to Save His Life:
Around 1:00 A.M. on Sunday, a 22-year-old man was shot SIX TIMES at a gas station in Minneapolis, apparently during a robbery. After the guys who shot him fled, the man managed to make it down the street looking for help.
He stumbled into a bar called Maxwell's and asked for help. And AMAZINGLY, there was more help there than he realized.
A group of SIX NURSES just happened to be hanging out at the bar that night. And while they waited for an ambulance to get there, they immediately jumped into action to save the guy.
They were able to slow down the bleeding by using the man's belt as a tourniquet, and using the bar's towels to put pressure on the gunshot wounds. If these nurses hadn't been there, the guy would've bled out before the paramedics got there.
The paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he's still recovering. He's going to survive the shooting.
As for why he got shot or who shot him . . . police are still investigating.
