The Rolling Stones tour, you know....the one that isn't coming to Colorado right now....continued in Anaheim over the weekend. As has been their custom during the tour, they had another surprise guest on stage. Dave Grohl from The Foo Fighters jammed with Mick and the boys on "Bitch". So far, this is the best video of a guest performer with the Stones so far....

GOOD MORNING!
I have found waking up everyday without the use of an alarm clock to be waaay overrated. Therefore, I have insisted on having my Elmo alarm clock giggle me awake every morning so that I can be here with you during the week. Thank goodness the power brokers here at our "plush & spacious" building have allowed me to do so.
What I hope to bring you every morning is a public display of what I'm like with little sleep and hopped up on mouth wash. I've always valued the laughter of people especially at my expense. I also value videos of cats with hats.

Stones - No Doubt
The Rolling Stones kicked off their "50 & Counting" tour in L.A. last night. They had a hard time filling those $600 seats....until they lowered the price. Go figure. There were several guests in the house including Gwen Stefani of No Doubt who jumped on stage to do "Wild Horses" with Mick and the boys. Check it out....

RIP Barry
What I liked about Barry Fey? I liked how he began his profession with a passion. The passion became his profession: he promoted a band he liked back in Illinois. He promoted the Association for a frat party in Denver and wound up staying. Barry was exceptionally good at what he did and he loved doing it. I respect people like that. Barry also became a legend, not just in Colorado, but around the world...and he didn't need a spotlight or microphone to become that. If you have fond memories of the Rolling Stones playing at Hughes Stadium, you have Barry to thank for that. Much of the musical reputation Colorado has across the country is due to Barry. RIP, Barry.

Here's a great idea that shows support for Boston and gets you out of that pesky suite and tie....WEAR YOUR RACESHIRT TO WORK on Friday. Along life's journey, you must have picked up a shirt for a 5K, a fun run/walk, a Mud Brigade, or similar. Let's wear those shirts on Friday as a show of solidarity to the victims and First responders in Boston.
